 Below pictures have brought me joy that reminded me and substantiated my statement when I said in my profile I began to play for Zanzibar Ithnasheri Gymkhana “A” when I was only 15 years old still in school along-side with Bashir Tejani, Amir Gulamhusein and Nazir Nasser. Yusuf Kabana and Amir Yusuf were a head of me by 2 to 3 years.

1962 and 1963 saw the end the of bond between the two clubs Ithnasheri Gymkhana Zanzibar and Ithnasheri Union S.C. DaresSalaam annual visits after more than two decades of relation. After 1964 Zanzibar Revolution the visits ceased unfortunately. These pictures I am sharing are already in my website which I have inserted recently. Many thanks and appreciation to Auni Salehmohamed from Ahmedabad who forwarded me these memorable pictures.
